The New Mercedes-Benz EQB: An All-Electric SUV with a Cutting-Edge Driving Experience

The new Mercedes-Benz EQB is an all-new model for the 2022 model year, offering a state-of-the-art design, highly sophisticated features, and an athletic, electric performance. As a compact luxury SUV, the new Mercedes-Benz EQB provides agility during city driving and versatility for your active lifestyle. You can enjoy an elegant design with the latest features and capabilities when you choose the new Mercedes-Benz EQB.

Performance

You can change the way you drive with the electric performance of the new Mercedes-Benz EQB. Without the need for a traditional gasoline motor and transmission, you can enjoy near-instant acceleration for power that will push you back in your seat. There are two electric motor options for the new Mercedes-Benz EQB, letting you discover the right amount of power for your driving needs.

The Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 4MATIC® provides up to 225 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque. The Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 delivers up to 288 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque for even more power. The available 4MATIC® all-wheel drive system delivers impressive traction and stability whether driving in challenging weather or on dry pavement.

The ECO Assist feature predictively computes driving to help save energy, while Navigation with Electric Intelligence factors maximum charging power and duration of charging stops into route recommendations.

Range and Charging

Both models include a 66.5 kWh and the same range. The Mercedes-Benz-estimated range is about 260 miles, which is more than enough for most drivers commuting throughout the week. You can also expect the same charge times for both models. You can charge your Mercedes-Benz EQB at home with standard AC power, using either a household socket or a Mercedes-Benz Wallbox.

For quick charging, DC fast charging stations allow the EQB to go from 10 percent to 80 percent power in as little as 30 minutes. You can enjoy the world's largest charging network through Mercedes me Charge, which includes almost 60,000 chargers throughout the United States sourced from sustainable energy providers. The new Mercedes-Benz EQB also provides one year of free charging for energy savings on the Mercedes Me Charge plan.

Design

The new Mercedes-Benz EQB offers an eye-catching appearance with a black panel grille and iconic front fascia. The electric-inspired design includes blue color highlights in the headlamps and a horizontal fiber-optic running strip. You can see the low drag coefficient with clean lines, a smooth underbody, and specially designed alloy wheels. The 111.3-inch wheelbase provides the interior space you need while remaining maneuverable.

When you explore the interior of the new Mercedes-Benz EQB, exceptional craftsmanship, intuitive layout, and highly sophisticated amenities. Ambient 64-color lighting comes standard with hues chosen specifically for Mercedes-EQ electric vehicles. Exclusive rose gold trim accents elevate the upscale nature of the interior.

The Mercedes-Benz EQB has seating for five passengers, but the option of adding a third row is similar to the Mercedes-Benz GLB. The standard configuration provides 38.5 inches of second-row legroom for plenty of comfort. The second row can slide up to 5.5 inches to accommodate more cargo and adjust to your passenger needs. There are 23 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and up to 62 cubic feet when you fold down the rear seats.

Some of the top technology features the Mercedes-Benz EQB offers include:
