Mercedes-Benz has completely redesigned the 2021 GLA, and it's arriving with available Mercedes-AMG power.

The new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA 35 offers an extra shot of power, performance, and style courtesy of the Mercedes-AMG performance wing. From exterior styling to the powertrain under the hood, this model gets a ream of upgrades that distinguish it from the standard model.

Much of the excitement for the GLA 35 comes from its Mercedes-AMG powertrain. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine makes a hearty 302 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Paired to a standard eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the powertrain can propel the GLA 35 from zero to 60 mph in just 5 seconds. That's brisk acceleration for a compact luxury crossover.

On top of this robust power, the GLA 35 comes standard with 4MATIC variable all-wheel drive. The system can vary torque distribution among all four wheels in order to maximize traction and improve handling in a range of conditions.

The updates go beyond performance, however. On the outside, the GLA 35 gets styling flourishes like an AMG grille, 19-inch wheels, and a sporty front splitter and air inlets. Inside the cabin, the crossover gets a ream of cutting-edge Mercedes-Benz technologies like the Mercedes-Benz User Experience and more.
