Mercedes-Benz has completely redesigned the GLA for 2021, and it's slated for availability this summer.

The 2021 GLA comes on the heels of the first-generation GLA. This unique model filled a slot in the Mercedes-Benz lineup that combined the best attributes of a traditional hatchback and compact SUV. Now, Mercedes-Benz aims to perfect the formula with a completely redesigned 2021 GLA.

The updates are obvious from the outside. The new 2021 GLA is both longer and shorter than the previous generation and uses sleeker styling elements. Graceful, curved body lines work together with LED running lights and more to create a handsome and modern appearance. Plus, standard roof rails add a touch of exterior utility.

Changes and upgrades continue inside the cabin. The 2021 GLA offers better front headroom and rear legroom than the previous model. The cutting-edge Mercedes-Benz User Experience infotainment system is standard across all configurations as well.

The new Mercedes-Benz GLA is a sharp performer as well. Its standard turbocharged four-cylinder engine makes 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Available 4MATIC all-wheel drive enhances stability, handling, and traction.

Of course, Mercedes-Benz will offer the 2021 GLA with a long list of standard and available driver-assistance features. From Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist to Active Emergency Braking and more, this new model is fully equipped with the safety features the drivers are looking for.

Mercedes-Benz has stated that the 2021 GLA will be available to customers this summer. In the meantime, you can learn more about the 2021 GLA or place your order with us here at Mercedes-Benz of Ann Arbor.
